How can we fight Facebook's attitudes and change it so that it doesn't abuse or mess with us, its users?
I have already pledged to no longer spend money to advertise, but, I'm frustrated by how Facebook regulates us and subverts the platform's use by censoring it's consumers, blocking it's user and other controlling behaviors. However, it has the monopoly on social media especially for people like me who use it to market art and share ideas. It seems that Myspace was an alternative that is no longer used.
I do use, Snapchat, Instagram, Tumblr, and Twitter but they are not quite as interactive.
Any ideas?
