Opportunity: Living Cultures Grants Program

The Alliance for California Traditional Arts supports pathways to nurture, sustain, and engage participation in traditional arts. The Living Cultures Grants Program seeks to sustain and strengthen the folk and traditional arts in the state of California with grants of $5,000 to California-based nonprofits, as well as other organizations who work with fiscal sponsors. Opportunity: CA Cultural and Historical Endowment Grants

The California Cultural and Historical Endowment has released the Guidelines and Application for the 2014-15 Museum Grant Program. In 2013, Governor Jerry Brown signed Assembly Bill 482, which authorized creation of a specified competitive grant program, to support small capital projects in museums including the acquisition of real property, or construction projects at museum facilities or venues.
