John Fryer National 50th Anniversary Celebration Monday, May 2  Join the celebration of Dr. John E. Fryer, whose testimony on May 2, 1972 at the American Psychiatric Association (APA) Annual Meeting was pivotal to the decision to remove homosexuality as a mental disorder from the APA's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, where it had been listed for more than 20 years.  TransWork x JPMorgan Job Fair  Wednesday, April 27  1PM - 3:30PM EST on Zoom Join TransWork and JPMorgan for an online job fair! JPMorgan, locally headquartered in Newark, DE is currently hiring for many Asset Management, Corporate Client Banking, and Client Service Group positions. This includes entry-level roles.  This event is open to all job-seekers who identity under the transgender umbrella. TransWork politely asks that cisgender folks do not attend this event, but would love for allies to share with T/GNC folks who may be interested!  Leeway Foundation is Hiring! The Leeway Foundation supports women, trans, and gender non-conforming artists and cultural producers working in communities at the intersection of art, culture, and social change. They are currently looking for a Program Assistant.  The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, with a track record of deep community engagement; an informed passion for Leeway’s mission and values; and a desire to contribute their energy, creativity, and vision to the team   DVLF Presents: HEROES Sunday, April 24, 11:30 AM at Hotel Monaco Philadelphia HEROES was started in 2003 to honor individuals whose work and leadership advance the rights of the LGBT community.  The Delaware Valley Legacy Fund honors these heroes annually in celebration of their character & in encouragement of others to act heroically.    These are difficult times.
