Recently I’ve been trying to up my game a bit. One of the things that I’ve been working on is trying to create more and more texture in my paintings that he texture of the paint mimics or follows how the skin and the muscles underneath the actual models skin. The other thing I’m attempting to do is incorporate more and different kinds of color combination both in the flesh tones and in the backgrounds.

The content of the majority of my paintings deals with painting men who I share an affinity with or attraction for. While attraction is part of sexuality I’m still hoping that I can go beyond just “sex” and show how heroic, sensual, powerful and masculine middle aged hairy men are. In this case, a man who I look a little bit like but I think is more handsome than myself.

In diesem Fall , der ein Mann sehe ich ein bisschen wie , aber ich denke, viel schöner als ich ist .
